Tampa
Fl- Artist, Arcadio unveiled his most recent
painting of top contender Nate Campbell. The painting was
done at the request of One Punch Productions’ director,
Terry Trekas, which is being used as the official event
artwork for Campbell’s match up against Isaac Hlatshwayo on
April 7th in Tampa. This is the fourth major event in eight
months that has featured Arcadio’s artwork.
In August of 2005, he painted former world champion Jeff
Lacy for his defense against Robin Reid in Tampa. In October
of that year, he followed with his colorful rendition of
Corrales vs. Castillo in Las Vegas, and ended 2005 with a
portrait of Winky Wright, which was unveiled at the Mohegan
Sun Casino for his match up against Sam Soliman.
In his latest painting, a vibrant, action portrait of Nate
Campbell, Arcadio captures the essence of the pugilist. With
close attention to detail, liberal use of color and an
emphasis on design, this piece is a must have for Nate
Campbell fans, and Arcadio Art collector’s. Arcadio’s
collectors include television network presidents, boxing
judges, promoters, and world champions. Promoter Gary Shaw,
of Gary Shaw Productions, and former heavyweight champion
Evander Holyfield are just two of the personalities who own
Arcadio’s work.
The action portrait of Nate Campbell is being offered in a
limited edition of 15 impressions, on museum paper,
measuring 16x20. Each impression, numbered and signed by
both the artist and the athlete, retail’s for $195.00. The
